It's really hard to need help..

....and have all the help you need. Sounds selfish I know. But, when you are incredibly capable, and busy and are used to accomplishing a lot every day and not counting on anyone else to do anything for you-it's hard to give over the control of say, where your 9month old is crawling, or what your 2 year old has for lunch b/c you can't move quickly enough or stand in place for too long. And, there is the element of being self-reliant and recognizing and giving up your control and your power. And it's hard because you have people around you who want to help, and want to love you and for whom you would do the same thing. and, well, it's another place where you have to welcome some serious Grace into your heart, so you are grateful and appreciative and able to store up lots of love so you can give it back when needed-and it will be needed and I need to CHOOSE that place.
